Tamar Drucker was born and raised in Tel Aviv, and started quilting when she moved to the United States in 1985. While living in Israel she studied drawing, etching and woodcut with Meir Moses. She is also has experience in water color and sculpting. Tamar refers to her quilting as “painting with fabrics.” Her quilts use a mixture of techniques: hand appliqué, raw-edge fabric collage, hand and machine quilting.
